“It’s amazing how one day someone walks into your life, and you cannot remember how you ever lived without them.” – Unknown

We used to follow the standard format for these descriptions.  You know the one... it uses words like "premier event venue" with a "carefully curated menu"  and "exceptional personalized service".  And while all of those things ring true, we thought it was about time to leave the stilted description behind and tell you a bit about the important stuff.

Our banquet manager will dote over your items as if they were her own.. we have watched her fuss over the placement of cupcakes for over an hour until they are just the right level of lined up on the tower. When you're not sure what you want to drink and you ask our lead bartender for some ideas, he'll whip you up a customized drink on the spot. He'll then tell you the ingredients for the drink, share the recipe he made for a BBQ sauce the night before and probably show you a couple of pictures of his kid (who is pretty cute!). And when you come back five years from now as a guest at another wedding, chances are he will remember your drink order. When your bridesmaid's dress rips at the seam, we're going to sew her into it. When your maid of honor forgets your party dress at the hotel we're going to run over there, talk our way into the room you got ready in and bring it back for you. And when it turns out someone (ahem, possibly the groom in this instance) leaves the boutonnieres at home and is panicking that the bride will find out... well, we'll whip a replacement up before the ceremony using flowers from your centrepieces and no one will be the wiser (true story and to this day that the groom's secret is safe with us).

Point being, we want you to have the best day of your life. The only thing you and your guests should be focused on that day is the love between you. And we'll do pretty much whatever it takes to make sure that happens while having a good time right along with you.

So yes... the menu is great (the chef would say it is carefully curated), the venue is on the water and it is very pretty (you could call it premier) and we would even consider the service to be exceptional.  But at the end of the day, would you want your guests to walk away from your wedding saying "that was a nice room" or for them to think "wow, we had so much fun. What a great party they threw and did you notice how happy they looked"?  We're thinking it might be time to focus on the latter...

Let us help you create a beautiful beginning to this next chapter of your love story.
